What I Learned:
Through out the year I've learned a lot whether in a physical or spiritual way. I earned myself money by DJing which is what i really liked and I've enjoyed the job. This experience told me that money is not the priority of jobs, it is more important to enjoy it.

Advice To Students:
Always work ahead others, seize opportunities and do not give up on them, and most importantly, seize the day. Finish hard, finish strong, and don't let others destroy your future especially those who look down at you.

Future Plans:
Hopefully that I'll be enjoying my summer. I'll be attending to American university after this summer and will be serving the military by the following summer.

From American Literature, I've enjoyed reading poems by William  Carlos Williams. He's poems are short and simple, at the same time, it expresses the feelings as much as the other long poems do. This made him a special writer and his poems enjoyable.
From British Literature, "Mark of the Beast" is a great story that expresses the differences between cultures. This story have thought me a lot of respecting each others even though the story seems to be a little bit fiction. This is a story worth to read.

Beitou, Taipei, Taiwan is a must visit place in Taiwan. It's famous sulfur in the mountain creates special hot water that benefits skins. The hot water is used by people to take a bath and it's called hot spring. This is just an awesome place in Taiwan to be visited.

Does good fences makes good neighbor?
Yes I think boundries are always necessary between people and thing just to make sure that no one crosses the line. Unlike the poem by Frost, I think good fences is the only way to make good neighbor, a neighbor that respects each other.

How much land does a man need?
People just needs what is good enough to make them survive. The desire of being rich and having extra stuffs is just unnecessary. A human being doesn't need to own a house, but of course it would be nice to own one.

Blog Assignment

In American Literature class, I enjoyed reading Success is Counted Sweetest by Emily Dickinson. Emily expressed her idea of success in a unique way. She says that the members of the victorious army are not able to define victory as well as the defeated, dying man who hears from a distance the music of the victors.
In British Literature class, I enjoyed reading Death Be Not Proud by John Donne. The author's usage of paradox made this poem very interesting and attracts reader's attention in a various way.

Success is an achievement of one's goal. This is the definition of success to me. I believe that one does not need to pursue success intentionally but to do what they like and to practice more about their life goals and success will eventually happen.

In class we listen to Jim Rohn's recording of "The Art of Exceptional Living". He is basically trying to deliver the idea that simple little habits in life that people doesn't notice could make a huge effect on life and that if these little habits are fixed, one's life will eventually be more successful then before.

My Interest of Literature

In British Literature class we read about The Wife of Bath's Tale from The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer. This tale is my favorite so far from what we have read in literature class. This story talks about how a knight was punished to find out what women desires the most because he raped a girl. He then figure out that quality between a relationship is what a woman desires to have.

In American Literature class we read about The Devil and Tom Walker  by Washington Irving. This story talks about how Tom was a crazy money lover and have a bad relationship between his wife. Tom then meet this Devil and die because of money. The best part of this story was that it uses irony that made the story interesting.

One university that i would love to attend is the University of Hawaii. Hawaii is a beautiful place. I simply enjoy the atmosphere and the wonderful nature, also the University of Hawaii includes some interesting majors that i would like to learn in the future which i haven't decide yet. University of Hawaii would be my first choice among all universities.

Personal Interest

In American Literature class, we read about "The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano". This story talks about how Olaudah Equiano was kidnapped and  became a slave. This story basically describes Olaudah's life as a slave and how he thought about it. It is harsh how they were treated that he totally deserves to write a book to tell people how hard their life were.

In British Literature class, we read about Beowulf, a poem that talks about the story of hero. Beowulf is a very straight forward epic poem presented with an expressive picture."So. The Spear-Danes in days gone by and the kings who ruled them had courage and greatness." This quote revealed how straight forward it is.

I am a music lover, especially to EDM (Electronic Dance Music). Not only EDM but I also appreciate different genre's good music as well. I believe that music is able to comfort one's soul.
